Depending on your level, you will work on skiing technique, control, carving, short turns and skiing on different slopes and terrain.

No. The sports equipment must be rented or purchased independently of the ski school.

Group lessons are generally held in German or English. Other languages, such as Dutch, Danish, etc., are available upon request but cannot be guaranteed.

Yes. For intermediate and advanced ski courses, a valid Ski ALPIN CARD is required.
You can buy your Ski ALPIN CARD online in advance or directly at the lift ticket offices in Zell am See.

No. You can also book fewer days. However, we do not recommend booking just one day of group lessons, as the learning effect is very limited.

For noticeable progress and the best learning experience, we recommend joining the course for several days.

The ski pass is not included in the course price! Info and prices for ski passes can be found at:  www.schmitten.at 

We generally recommend booking through our webshop. The earlier the better! This brings you a lot of advantages! There is usually always space in the group courses. In the holiday periods, however, we cannot guarantee that there will be free places on site without online booking.

In principle, it makes sense to redeem the days consecutively, as the learning program builds on each day. Skipping a day could make it difficult for participants, both children and adults, to keep up with the rest of the group, potentially requiring a change to a different group.

Yes. You can join an intermediate or advanced group during the week, subject to availability and a suitable group for your skiing level.

Please note: No group lessons are offered on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, except during the Christmas and New Year high season.

Course cards are personal and non-transferable. Redeemed course tickets will be refunded on a pro rata basis. The Zell am See Ski School accepts no liability for any accidents.

Yes. If another group is better suited to your skiing ability, we will try to move you to the appropriate group.

You will need skis, ski boots, poles, a helmet and suitable winter clothing. A valid Ski ALPIN CARD is also required.

You should already be able to ski independently and confidently. On the first day, our ski instructors will assess your skiing ability and place you in the group that best suits you.
The minimum skiing level is B1 (blue slopes)!

Lessons usually take place in the Schmittenhöhe ski area in Zell am See. Depending on the group’s ability and snow conditions, advanced groups may also explore the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier in Kaprun or the Saalbach Hinterglemm ski area.
